Electrical lecterns are metal structures designed to hold command and control panels in industry, serving machines, plants and production lines. A heavy-duty yet functional design is essential to guarantee safety, easy maintenance and efficiency.
This lectern is made from “Scotch Brite” satin-finish stainless steel (EN 1.4307 – Type 304L), with 2 mm thick doors and a 1.5 mm shell. The container, crafted from a single metal sheet, features a cable gland plate with a sealing gasket, while the solid doors with a top-opening mechanism are equipped with support rods (two for the L.1200 mm and L.1600 mm models).
The closing system features locks with three-point latching rods, while the stainless steel internal hinges open 120° and comply with standard CEI EN 60204-1. The door is designed to support a maximum weight of 12 kg. The expanded polyurethane gasket ensures an optimum seal, while the hot-dip galvanized metal internal plate (EN10142) is fastened with stainless steel studs and supported by special ABS components, which reduce the load.
Featuring a grounding provision in line with existing regulations, this lectern offers an IP66 protection rating for our single-door versions and an IP65 rating for our two-door models, guaranteeing excellent protection against dust and water ingress.
